Όσκαρ 2024: 11 υποψηφιότητες για το «Poor Things» του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου (BINTEO)
Ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες των φετινών Όσκαρ με ξεκάθαρο φαβορί το «Οπενχάιμερ», με 13 συνολικά, και τον Γιώργο Λάνθιμο με το «Poor Things» σε απόσταση αναπνοής με 11 υποψηφιότητες
Η Ακαδημία Κινηματογραφικών Τεχνών και Επιστημών ανακοίνωσε σήμερα τις τελικές υποψηφιότητες για τα Βραβεία Όσκαρ 2024 με ξεκάθαρο φαβορί το «Oppenheimer» του Κρίστοφερ Νόλαν, με 13 συνολικά, και τον Γιώργο Λάνθιμο με το «Poor Things» σε απόσταση αναπνοής, με 11 υποψηφιότητες.
Συγκεκριμένα, η ταινία του Έλληνα δημιουργού είναι υποψήφια στις εξής κατηγορίες των Όσκαρ: Καλύτερης Ταινίας, Σκηνοθεσίας, Διασκευασμένου σεναρίου (Τόνι ΜακΝαμάρα), A’ Γυναικείου (Έμα Στόουν), Β’ Ανδρικού (Μαρκ Ράφαλο), Μοντάζ (Γιώργος Μαυροψαρίδης), Φωτογραφίας (Ρόμπι Ράιαν), Μουσικής (Τζέρσκιν Φέντριξ), Eνδυματολογίας (Χόλι Γουάντινγκτον), Σκηνογραφίας (Σόνα Χιθ, Τζέιμς Πράις) και Κομμώσεων – Μακιγιάζ.
Πρόκειται για τη δεύτερη οσκαρική υποψηφιότητα του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου στην κατηγορία της Σκηνοθεσίας μετά την υποψηφιότητά του το 2019, με την ταινία «Η ευνοούμενη» (The Favourite). Μάλιστα, αξίζει να σημειωθεί πως είναι η δεύτερη οσκαρική υποψηφιότητα του Γιώργου Μαυροψαρίδη στην κατηγορία του Μοντάζ, καθώς κι εκείνος το 2019 ήταν υποψήφιος για την «Ευνοούμενη».
Στην κούρσα των υποψηφιοτήτων, ακολουθεί το «Killers of the Flower Moon» του Μάρτιν Σκορτσέζε με 10 υποψηφιότητες και η «Barbie» της Γκρέτα Γκέργουιγκ με 8.
Η 96η Τελετή Απονομής των Βραβείων Όσκαρ θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο Dolby Theatre Hollywood στο Λος Άντζελες την Κυριακή 10 Μαρτίου, με οικοδεσπότη τον Τζίμι Κίμελ για δεύτερη συνεχή χρονιά και για τέταρτη φορά συνολικά.
